Work Education DVD
This is the Corporate Video that Sasha and I put together (Sasha filmed and supervised Voice Over, I directed and edited). The client sent us chocolates and card this week thanking us and saying how thrilled they are with the response and amount of inquiries it has generated since it's release 6 weeks ago. It's about kids with learning difficulties and disabilities who can learn the art of find a job. It's a great course and I found working with the kids really touching. Oddly, I did a presentation last night at a Youth Centre and the lady who runs the program asked me if I was the same David Moore who did this video which she had watched. When I told her I was, she also told me how touched she was by it and how great it was, so I thought that was very six degrees and wonderful. I shared with her that one of the most beautiful moments in the shoot was when I asked one of the young men what was his ambition in life, his response nearly made me cry. He said he just wanted to find someone he loved, get married and have children. We decided it wasn't appropriate to put in the finished video but it was a simple, beautiful ambition if I ever heard of one. Watch the corporate and let me know what you think. Its 4 minutes long.

As Time Goes On - half way home!
So we are officially half way there. Nicki has done an awesome job, and there are a couple of little things that I would like to tweek but essentially we are looking like we have a music video clip now, not just a few seconds of a sample clip. You may notice when we push into Andy's face in the bottom of the boat, he sings the line 'getting older' and we did make up to give him that older appearance, the little quicktime doesn't give this justice, but on the TV it will look great. We are moving onto the sandcastles now, which will give the clip another dimension. Nicki and I never thought that animation would be SO time consuming, but I think the proof will be in the pudding when we are done.
